The PDS Archiver is the world’s first stand-alone document management scanner and network archiving system. The scanning mechanism handles a variety of sizes from bank cheques to oversized A4 pages and even forms printed on pressure-sensitive paper.



Advanced Text Enhancement improves legibility with hard-to-scan documents, colour removal increases OCR accuracy, and there is also a blank page deletion facility.

Simply using the touch control panel allows you to record your documents at up to 42 pages per minute in simplex mode and 85 images per minute in duplex mode.

When scanning documents as PDF files, you can apply OCR and have the entire text embedded in the file, enabling you to search for all pages and even specific words. A high compression setting is included to keep file sizes manageable.

Documents can be organised into cabinets and folders for easy filing and fast retrieval, with the ability to save configurations as templates for re-use on subsequent CD-Rs. Automatic keyword functions allow data to be automatically extracted from a specific area of a fed document, via OCR - which recognises diverse fonts including MICR characters.

When linked to your office network the PDS Archiver can be used to scan documents to a network folder, allowing documents to be shared. Scanned documents can also be sent by e-mail to individuals or groups simply by selecting addresses registered in the Archiver.

Using a simple web browser interface, network users can search, view and download documents stored on the hard disc drive. Searches by the Full Text Search Engine are lightning fast, with files searchable by key word, file name, file type, date, directory or any word in the text.

Documents can be scanned in colour, mono or greyscale and recorded onto CD-R and a built-in archive which enables quick searching with a web browser. Images are stored as TIFF, PDF or JPEG files.

Data can be password protected for added security.
